Cristina Rivero

Cristina has developed her professional career in   the   field   of energy, environment and climate change in the Electricity Association of Spain from 1990 until 2019. At European level, she has been representative of the Spanish electricity sector in Eurelectric in the working groups related to climate change and environmental policies. At international level, she has participated in work programs of the   International   Energy   Agency, as well as Latin American energy and business organizations, CIER and OLADE always related with environmental and climate policies in the field of energy. Since 2001 (COP6,5) Cristina is observer for the private sector at the Conferences of the Parties to the UNFCCC. She is currently the Director of the industry, energy, environment and climate department of CEOE, the Spanish confederation of employers and industries. She is a  member of the Industrial Affairs Committee of Business Europe, of the EU Commission Platform for Sustainable Finance with Business Europe and member of the group of experts appointed by the Spanish Administration to design and survey the Citizen Assemblies for climate change.
