Anthony Lewis

Anthony Lewis has led technical innovation for HP with an emphasis on deep learning, controlling cyber-physical and computational systems of future paradigms. Dr. Lewis has led concussion robotics lab research at UCLA and prior to HP, he was an executive at Qualcomm Corporate R&D. He is known for his groundbreaking work in robotics and the application of neuromorphics and computational neuroscience, robot learning models. At the Caltech Jet Propulsion Lab Dr. Lewis built an award-winning control system for a robotic hand. In addition, Dr. Lewis has developed motor control chips for controlling animal spinal cords and object recognition and modeling aspects of human locomotion with robots.
